When choosing the colors that are going to decorate a room in home or work, it’s essential to take into account some factors. Among them, how much light is received, how big it is, and of course the color walls. Under these parameters, we can choose which color range is best suited.
With the objective of providing ideas and inspiration, we will see in this series of posts different combinations that may be interesting for your personal or professional space.
White tones combined with turquoise and navy blue
In the previous post (white tones combined with sand and ocher tones) we saw that white color is an exceptional base for any type of decoration. If we are looking for a Mediterranean style, blue will be a great ally to combine with white.
But we must choose well, since the color range of blue is very extensive and not all shades are suitable. To find a casual and relaxed atmosphere, the perfect shades are turquoise, aquamarine or light blue above all.
From there, we can already add some discreet shades of navy blue, Mediterranean color by nature. Given its enormous personality, it’s better not to abuse this tone, but to complement it with touches.
Another interesting recommendation is that we can add natural wood pieces and textile elements of natural fibers. Both elements will give an indubitable warm character, maintaining the fresh aspect of blue and white. A wonderful contrast for home or work.
